St George's Country House is an exclusive country guest house offering B&B accommodation in Perranporth, Cornwall, situated in its own grounds overlooking Perranporth which boasts its famous 3 mile sandy beach.
From the house you can enjoy outstanding views of the surrounding Cornish countryside and we are only minutes from the coastal footpaths making it an ideal base for walking holidays in Cornwall.
Our central location in Cornwall also makes St Georges an ideal base for touring and sightseeing in Cornwall with Cornish attractions such as The Eden Project, St Michaels Mount and The Lost Gardens of Heligan within easy reach by car. The city of Truro offers great shopping and restaurants etc and is approximately 9 miles away.
Sue and Sharon, as resident owners, offer a warm, relaxed family atmosphere. As well as our bed and breakfast rooms we have a licensed bar and bistro offering home cooked, locally sourced and organic food wherever possible. We also grow many of our vegetables and have our own free range chickens.
In addition to offering bed & breakfast accommodation in Perranporth we also have a 2 bedroom self catering holiday cottage attached to the Hotel that sleeps up to 5 people - perfect for family holidays in Cornwall. As a guest in the holiday cottage you are welcome to use the hotel facilities, including the bar and bistro, should you not wish to cook for yourself.
We are environmentally conscious, have solar water heating and are proud members of the Coast Project.
St George's Country House can also provide the perfect setting for events and functions including wedding receptions. The whole hotel can be booked for such occasions.
